Link Building can be nightmare for some webmaster and also extremely difficult task. Because you need spend a lots of time find a website related to you and email them, asking for a link exchange etc.
Most webmaster try to build one way link as it has more value and also help in google ranking. so here is tips and resources:
Reciprocal Link Building:
You can contact webmaster related to your site and request for a link exchange. it is always good idea write something about website and how it will help both of you. also mention if you have page rank which attract most webmaster.
How do you find link partner? its a simple task, just go to Google and search ( if your site is poker related) ” poker reciprocal links” or ” poker links” or “poker link exchange” or “poker link partner” etc etc
Submit to Web Directories:
Does not matter what kind of website you have, always submit your site into directory. Try to submit at least 1 directory each day and continue to do so… it is very useful because more directory you submit your site, your back links will be more stronger.
Article Submissions:
Article Submission is one of the most useful way to build your back links. Try to write some good quality article and submit to article directories. In the Resource box put your link with anchor text. Once you submit article, you will good results in few days.
Submit Press Releases:
Write Press Release about your site or get some professional to do it then submit it to press release distribution service.
Social Networking:
Social networking sites like my space, you tube, face book, hi5 are very very useful, they not only get you the back links also will bring you huge traffic.
Social Book marking:
social bookmarking sites is pretty new but very popular, it can bring you tons of quality traffic. sign up with some social bookmarking sites and bookmark your site, these social bookmarking site are also great for seo.

Thank you for your post. Very informative. You described the most effective link building strategies. As a conclusion to this article, I would say that a website owner should use a combination of link building tactics and not stuck with a single one. Using various methods we can get naturally looking backlinks while links onbtained from the only one tactic are more likely look as spam.
